Creating an account is completely optional. It allows you to store your billing and shipping addresses to make the ordering process faster the next time you shop with us. This information is guarded by a password chosen by you, and no one else will have access to it. You can also save your credit card information to your account, but only you will have access to that information.  FYI - You do not have to create an account to place an order.

No. retail site and The Rag Company's wholesale site (WholesaleMicrofiber.Company) are two separate sites that are not directly connected and unable to share that information. You will need to create an account on each site.

Select Wish Lists in the lower right under "My Account" from the Home Page. If prompted, sign into your account with The Rag Company. You must have an account to create a wish list. Select the option to create a "New Wishlist". You will be prompted to name the list. Then, select "Create Wishlist". Once the list is set up, you can visit your favorite product pages and select the "heart" icon in the upper right corner of the main image. Your favorite product cannot be added to the Wish List from "Quick View". This will add your item(s) to your list.

You can place your order online through our secure website, purchase product at our store location, or place it over the phone at no charge. If you are looking to place a Wholesale / Distributor order, you can choose one of the following methods: 1) order from our wholesale website (; 2) email your order to, or 3) call (208) 888-6821 from 8am to 5pm, (MST) M-F or from 11am to 3pm on Saturdays. (Leave a voicemail during non-business days or hours)

When you are ready to checkout, view your shopping cart and click checkout. On the next page you will enter your billing and shipping information and a coupon code in the space provided. The code will automatically apply the discount to the applicable items in your shopping cart. Only one coupon code may be used per order.

cleanarrow.jpg Do you charge a sales tax?

The subject around collection of State Sales Tax as it applies to online businesses continues to evolve and took a substantial step during 2017.  If you were charged State Sales Tax on your order, it means that your state government is requiring all online businesses with TAX NEXUS doing business in your state, by law, to register their business and collect the appropriate sales tax or be subject to substantial penalty and/or jail time.  

Although The Rag Company doesn't necessarily have a physical presence/operation in your state, your state government has determined that we legally have "Tax Nexus" due to: 1) the presence of an Amazon warehouse (we also sell our products on Amazon); and/or 2) because The Rag Company has exceeded the minimum sales/revenue threshold established by your state to qualify as having Tax Nexus there.  If it was our choice, things would continue as they used to be where we only collected state sales tax in Idaho where our warehouses and corporate offices are located.  Taking all of the steps required is expensive and time consuming for any online business.

Online businesses doing business in the U.S. currently have a choice: 1) ignore the laws around the collection of state sales tax as established by states across the U.S. and potentially receive substantial penalties/fines; or 2) register and comply with those laws where they are required to do so.  The Rag Company made the conscious choice to register and collect state sales tax where we are required to do so as we're not in a position to pay the substantial fines for ignoring the laws.  

There is no doubt that this topic and associated issues will ultimately go to the U.S. Supreme Court sometime in the next few years, but in the meantime we will abide by the laws as established by your state.

In-stock items are usually shipped within 12-24 hours of order being placed (the exceptions are orders placed after 1:00pm Saturday through Sunday which will be quickly processed the following Monday morning). Orders placed before 2:30pm MST Monday-Saturday are typically shipped the same day they're ordered. Special orders and custom requests are shipped from the manufacturer and will require more time to ship. Specific information on custom items is available by emailing

Yes. is served through a secure connection using 128-bit SSL v2/v3 encryption. Every step of the order process is encrypted. Credit cards are verified by a multi-point process based on the customer’s billing address.

We do not under any circumstances trade, sell, or share your information with anyone. Your privacy and security are extremely important to us.

The billing address is where you receive your credit card bill. We must have the correct billing address to process your order. If we do not have the correct billing address, your card will be declined and we will contact you using the phone number or email address you provided us to get the correct address.

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and PayPal (as well as Cash for in-store purchases - no checks).

Yes. As you checkout, you will be asked for your billing address and your shipping address if it is different. We must have your billing address to charge your credit card. It is for verification purposes. If you supply a separate shipping address, your order will ship to that address.

Delivery times vary by location and shipping method chosen. 99% of U.S.-bound online orders receive USPS Priority 2-3 Day Shipping. International orders are also sent via USPMI - Expect Extended Delivery Times and Limited Tracking. Packages that cannot be cost-effectively sent via USPS Priority will be shipped using USPS Parcel-Select, USPS First-Class or UPS Ground at The Rag Company's discretion. Delivery time starts from the next full business day after the order leaves our warehouse. Orders must typically be placed by 2:30 p.m. MST to ship out the same business day.

No. What time your package arrives is determined by the delivery driver’s route in your area.

Not typically. The driver will usually leave the package unless there have been a high number of claims in your area (driver discretion in those cases). We can send your order with “signature required” by special request with an additional fee charged/collected for this service. Otherwise, The Rag Company and UPS/USPS assume no further liability for missing or lost packages once delivered to the shipping address given at the time the order was placed.  In addition, The Rag Company, USPS, and UPS cannot be held responsble for issues that are the result of incorrect and/or incomplete shipping address information provided by the purchaser.

Yes. An email is automatically generated when your package leaves our warehouse. It is sent to the email address you provide when you place your order. If you do not provide an email address, or provide an incorrect one, we cannot send tracking information.

Spam filters can sometimes block tracking emails. Also, if we have an incorrect email address or no email address, we cannot send tracking information.

  • Most orders within the contiguous U.S. ship via U.S. Postal Service. (UPS may be used in instances where USPS is not cost-effective at the discretion of The Rag Company)
  • Most orders to Alaska and Hawaii ship via U.S. Postal Service. (UPS may be used in instances where USPS is not cost-effective at the discretion of The Rag Company)
  • Orders to Puerto Rico ship via U.S. Postal Service.
  • Orders to Military APO and FPO addresses ship via U.S. Postal Service.
  • International orders ship via USPS International unless other arrangements are made.

We charge a $6 Flat Rate Fee for orders totalling less than $59 (Pre-Shipping). Any order over $59 being shipped within the 50 States has the option of receiving Free Shipping. USPS 2-3 Day Priority is the primary method of shipping, although USPS Parcel Select or UPS may be used at The Rag Company's discretion if USPS Priority is not cost-effective.

          Shipping on international orders will vary. International online-retail-order customers can calculate their shipping by using the associated functionality of the online shopping cart. We ask that international customers place an order on the website and choose International Shipping for the shipping option. The shipping rates match current USPS International pricing and are determined by a combination of product weight, product dimensions and the shipping destination.
  • The Rag Company is not responsible for any additional duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or tariffs
  • The Rag Company cannot control delivery times to international destinations
  • The Rag Company cannot be held responsible for damaged packages once they leave the freight forwarder
  • The Rag Company will NOT ship chemicals internationally

  • Items must be returned within 30 days in like new condition (unused and unwashed) with original packaging. To return an item, call us at (208) 888-6821 to receive a Return Authorization Number and instructions. Write this number on the outside of the package. Products returned without authorization will not be accepted.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser except as noted below
  • All "Free Shipping Offers" will be charged a normal shipping charge before a refund is issued. If the return of a product or products causes the original order to fall below the free shipping threshold the remaining items and returned items will be billed the $6.00 flat-rate
  • The cost of the returned items, minus all associated shipping charges, will be promptly credited via the payment method used. It may take 5-7 days for your bank to process the credit

Custom-made items cannot be returned. These items are made for your specific needs. Please verify that the information provided for a custom item is correct before placing your order. Custom items are noted as such on the product page. We can only accept returns on custom items in the event of a manufacturer error.

The Rag Company covers return shipping costs if the return is due to a manufacturing defect or as a result of our error, otherwise return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. We will provide you with a pre-paid USPS or UPS label to return the product(s) to us in this situation. Items returned for reasons other than defect or Rag Company error will not be provided with a pre-paid return label. These returns include reasons such as "changed my mind," "did not like the product" and "ordered the incorrect/wrong product".  If a returned product we receive is determined to not be defective or not the result of an error by The Rag Company, all associated return shipping costs we have paid for will then be charged back to the customer

Yes, so long as it is unused. Please call us at 1-208-888-6821 and let us know that you will be returning an unused item and what item you would like instead. Upon our receipt of the returned item, we will ship out the new item. You will be credited or charged the price difference, less shipping, to the original form of payment.
